Welcome to the Rochester, Illinois Lions Club!
Who the Rochester Lions are...
Over 50 Years of History
The Rochester Lions Club was chartered in 1965 and has been serving Rochester and central Illinois for over 50 years! Members of the club have a long history of community involvement and lending a helping hand wherever needed!
We Serve
Our club has a wide range of service programs, from supporting the Educational Center for the Visually Impaired, to our annual foster children's Christmas party, from college scholarships, to student awards, eyeglasses and much more!
Changing a Life
When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.
Owned and operated by the Rochester Lions Club, our haunted house has raised a zombie hoard-load of money for the community since we first opened our doors in 2000. As an added benefit, it provides the perfect venue for community members from all over central Illinois to come together and work toward a common goal. Each night, more than 100 volunteers work at the haunted house. It warms a zombie’s heart to know we have so many demented – yet generous and caring – people in our community!
